He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Lawrence Steiner and Rose Howard Steiner; his brother Lawrence "Whitey" Steiner; and his wife Mary Steiner. He is survived by: his children, Larry Steiner, Linda Cochran and Nancy Keel; and his grandchildren, Jaimie Larson (Dan), Ryan Cochran, Nicolle Keel (Darren) and Krissy Keel (Craig). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; and various nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lighthouse Mission or the Salvation Army in Howard's honor.
