It is with sadness that the passing of John Walter Ostricker (Bellingham, Washington) is shared. John Walter, born on March 19, 1943, passed away on September 22, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Ostricker and Daisy Ostricker (Jeffery); his former wife Carol Ostricker; and his pet Jesse. He is survived by: his wife Lily Ostricker (Blacksher); his sister Charlene Dyvig; his daughters, Lona Dennis and Vicki Polanco (Giovanny); his stepchildren, Dawn Weninger (Ernest), Adria Kinney, Angel Hopkey (Brannon), Angelique Waldrop and Travis Waldrop; his grandchildren, Bobby, Kaylee (Mike), Marlee (Jamael), Lauren (Kevin), Curtis, Marissa (Blake), McKylee (Gavin), Matthew, Alexis, Hannah, Mariah and Kiersten; and his great grandchildren, LaRaya, Hylan, Rory, Rhys, Madeline, Braylee, Beaudin and Skyla-Jean. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Cornwall Church (4518 Northwest Dr, Bellingham, WA 98226).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Whatcom Hospice and/or the Bellingham Senior Center.
