It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marilyn Moritz Protected of Bellingham, Washington, born in Long Beach, California, who passed away on April 12, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Alva Baker and Florence Baker (Tinker); and her husband Alvie Moritz. She is survived by : her children, Mike Moritz, Mark Moritz (Maria), Matt Moritz (Kim) and Jana Schueler (Eric); her grandchildren, Christopher, Robert (Maddie), Breaz, Jessica, Cayla (Grant), Zach (Anna) and Kaitlyn; her great grandchildren, Sophia, Sacha, Easton, Emery, Amelia and Wesley; her brother Donald Baker; her sisters-in-law, Pat Abbott and Helen Beselin; and her friend Judy Matheny. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Greenacres Memorial Park (5700 Northwest Dr, Ferndale, WA 98248).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Whatcom Hospice Foundation in Marilyn's memory.
