With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Robert Daniel Lane (Bellingham, Washington), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Robert Daniel left this world on November 7, 2023 at the age of 85, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

Though Robert Daniel may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of our lives, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Henry and Catherine Frances "Linehan" Lane; his former life partner Randi Sharp; his daughter Melody Ann Lane; and his siblings, Frank Lane and Shirley.

He is survived by : his daughter Alice Woodburn of Spokane, WA; and his grandchildren, Nichole Braun (Hall), Erin Morelli Mettellie, Josh Ward-Lane, Nicholas Ward and Kacey Ward. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren, and leaves behind many friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Jerns Funeral Home (4131 Hannegan Rd, Bellingham, WA 98226).
