It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roger Alan Shipley (Bellingham, Washington), born in Akron, Ohio, who passed away on July 19, 2019, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise Irene Shipley and Guy Elmer Shipley; and his grandparents, Harley, Cordie Sutter, Raymond and Stella Shipley.

He is survived by: his wife Gayle Shipley of Bellingham, WA; his children, Amber Shipley and Art Shipley (Emma Kent); his siblings, Gary Shipley, John Shipley (Lori Shipley) and Kathy Shipley (Jack Henry); his aunt Lillian Minor; and his nieces and nephews, Jessica Shipley (Rhi Clark), Doug Shipley (Julie Shipley), Kate Shipley (Sam Richey), Meg Henry and Christina Cassidy (Sean Cassidy).
