He is survived by: his wife Penny Swan of Bellingham; his children, Greg McKay (Jennifer) of Lynden, Glen McKay (Gina) of Lynden and Barbara Carlson (Mark) of Blaine; and his daughter-in-law Judy McKay of Meridian, Idaho. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Faith Community Church (586 Birch Bay Lynden Rd, Lynden, WA 98264).
