She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Clark and Opal Clark. She is survived by: her brother Druery Clark (Dru); her former husband James Lee Powell; her husband David Ray Cooper; her in-laws, Jim and Audrey Jim Block; and her sons, Roy Powell (Belinda) of Phoenix, AZ, Rod Powell (Margi) of Tigard, OR and Glenn Powell (Linda) of Lynden, WA.. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Christ Community Church (4310 H Street Rd, Blaine, WA 98230).
In 1999, Lee and Nola relocated to Lynden, WA where Lee eventually succumbed to Alzheimer's. In 2010, Nola married David Ray Cooper who devotedly loved and cared for her in the winter season of their lives.
