He was predeceased by: his parents, Caroline Bender and Edward Bender; his parents-in-law, Cleo and Vera Hathaway; his siblings, Edwin, Larry and Lorraine; his siblings-in-law, Joyce, Charlotte and Doug Wickre; his wife Dorinda; and his son Matthew.
He is survived by: his siblings, Harry, Bill (Carol), Don (Pam), Tom (Sue), Jim (Annette), Angie Hilzendeger (Willie) and Charlene Fetzer (Kenneth); his sister-in-law Gail Wickre; his children, Phillip, Daniel (Brenda), Elaine (Brian) and Joseph (Sara); and his grandsons, Victor, Nicholas, Jameson and Macallam. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
