He was predeceased by: his former wife Lorraine Lawrence; and his children, Laurie Johnston and David Knopp. He is survived by: his wife Janice Knopp; and his daughters, Nancy Petersen of Everett, WA, Valerie Witbracht of Madison and Kenaston. He is also survived by step children, 11 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.
