He is survived by: his wife Kay; his daughter Mitra Knickelbein (Reinhard); his grandchildren, Claire and Olivia; his daughter Roya Collins (Nick); his grandchildren, Grace and Ellie; his daughter Katie Burgess (Brian); his grandchildren, Brady, Leo and Tate; and his brother Javad Kolahi. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
