She was predeceased by: her parents, Gest Ruthford and Ruth Ruthford; and her siblings, Richard and Margaret. She is survived by: her husband William T. Vance; her children, Edward Vance (Marne), Nancy O'Connor (Mike Sr.) and Margaret Olsen (David); her brother Jack Ruthford; and her daughter Marla Vance. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Susan G. Komen or Skagit Regional Health foundation.
