She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lawson and Virgie Lawson; her husband Thomas J. Nettleton; her sons, Thomas J Nettleton II and Charles Nettleton (Chuck); and her siblings, Calvin Lawson (Gene) and Ruby Poe.

She is survived by: her daughter Mary Cook (James); her sister Elizabeth Boyer (late James D.); and her granddaughters, Bridgett Alsono, Sarah Nettleton, Michelle Burch (Jared), Kari Jellison (Dave) and Mary Mouring (DeVincey). She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
