She was predeceased by : her parents, Anton Hlede and Emelija Hlede; and her siblings, Anton Hlede, Jr., Doniel Hlede, Aloise Hlede and Amelia Hlede (Roseanna Hlede).
In the year 2000 the Hlede Dairy Farm was recognized with the highest award for its "Contribution to Clean Water in the South Puget Sound Water Shed" from the Washington State Dept. of Ecology.
