Josephine Gwydline Johnson Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Josephine Gwydline Johnson in Buckley, Washington. Josephine, born on October 6, 1929 in Cosmopolis, Washington, passed away on October 5, 2026. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wavel Johnson-McKinney and Jesse Ralph McKinney; her husband Anton "Tony" Johnson of Kalama; and her sisters, Fedelina Hardman, Jessie McKinney, Rosemary Bown and Shirley McKinney.

She is survived by: her daughter Vicky Mast (Bill); her brother Jack McKinney (Brenda); her grandchildren, Joshua Johnson (Erika) and Megan Hawver (Mitch); her great grandchildren, Blake Johnson, Maddie Hawver and Luke Hawver; and her nephews, Shannon (Michelle), Chris (Kristin) and Toby. She is also survived by the many family members and friends who were blessed by her loyalty.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Kalama Ioof Cemetery.
