She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Powell and Alta Powell; her son Joseph Armstrong; and her husband Jesse Miller. She is survived by: her sons, Larry Armstrong (Anna Soares) and Jamie Miller (Madonna McDaniel).
Mary loved her work and made significant contributions to her field with a feature on the cover page of the News Tribune Business "Boeing jets get in line" on August 26, 2001.
