She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter G. W. and Freda E. Mires Wagner; her son Jad Higgins; and her siblings, Carol Byerly (Wagner), Glenn Wagner and Eugene "Bud" Wagner.

She is survived by : her husband Bruce; and her children, Shauleen Higgins (Sam), Kala Thurber (Alan), Yvette Ogata (Marc), Lawan Miller (Cory), Brenda Karr (Rick) and Tate Higgins (Julie). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces & nephews.
