We are sad to announce that, on February 19, 2026, at the age of 71, Kristine Schmidt (Centralia, Washington), born in Aberdeen, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Cal; and her husband Dave Schmidt. She is survived by: her children, Heather and Jonathan; her granddaughter Evie; her brother Rich; her nieces, Jennifer and Marissa; Harold (Ione), Richard (Linda), Raymond (Lil), Kenneth (Mary), Lorna and Linda.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Samaritan's Purse International Relief in Kris's memory.
