She is survived by: her husband Emmanuel Anhalt; her children, Shannon Mead (Brian) and Christopher Paul (Ellie Howard); her grandchildren, Aria Smith (Westley) and Alex Mead; her siblings, Doug Dawson, Kristin Dawson and Julie Meaker; and her nieces, Miranda Hart (Kevin) and Brienna Dawson.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services (1844 1st Ave NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
