With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jim Gorter (Chehalis, Washington), born in Montesano, Washington, who passed away on August 27, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Bill Gorter and June Gorter; his siblings, Joan Luerssen and Sam; and his siblings-in-law, Roger Knutson (Anna), Wally Knutson, Gene Knutson, Jim Hilderman Ed Brehmer and Idella Cunningham.
He is survived by : his wife Elaine Knutson; his sons, Dean Gorter (Debbie) of Marengo Illinois and Steve Gorter of Harvard Illinois, Five; and his siblings-in-law, Red Cunningham, Shirley Brehmer, Betty Knutson and Linda Marr (Alan). He is also survived by Five Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandson, and his sister.
