He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd McDonald and Helen McDonald; his daughter Monica; his sister Marsha; and his grandson David Kady.

He is survived by: his children, Heidi Kady of Spanaway, WA and Scott McDonald of Moorpark, CA..
