He was predeceased by : his parents, Louis Peter Sorensen and Ruth Bertram Sorensen; his wife Vera; his siblings, Saunder, Doris and Carolyn; and his grandson James.

He is survived by : his children, Mike (Marilyn) of East Wenatchee, WA, Terry (Jesse) of Mexico, Gerry of Chelan, WA, Lori of Entiat, WA and Kelly (Carrie) of Entiat, WA.; and his siblings, Roger, Karen and Mary. He is also survived by his five children; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
