He was predeceased by: his parents, Margarito Sr. Moncada and Elida Moncada; his daughter Malinda; his brother Juan Carlos Moncada; and his pets, Chloe and Mazy.
He is survived by: his children, JohnPaul Moncada (Denise), Melissa Halbrook (Michael) and Nick Moncada (Leonela); his siblings, Genoveva Moncada Varela (Salomon), Mary Guadalupe Moncada, Daniel Moncada (Rachel) and Gerardo Moncada (Laura); and his pets, Tikaani, August and Frankie. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins.
