Margene Coates Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margene Coates of Chewelah, Washington, born in Pocatello, Idaho, who passed away on October 16, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Margene is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Margene's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Abner Alfred and Sue Bott (Jones); and her son-in-law Kevin Peace. She is survived by: her husband Joe Coates of Chewelah, WA; her children, Timbra Peace of Flagstaff, AZ and Peter Coates (Renae) of Cedarville, CA; her grandchildren, Justin Peace (Moriah) of Flagstaff, AZ, Gemma Coates and Gavin Coates of Cedarville, CA; and her sister Kris Galloway (Dick) of Denver, CO.
