She was predeceased by: her parents, Vern Dennis Bright and Lydia Marie Bright (McIntyre); her husband Robert Irby; her daughter Deborah Irby; her granddaughter Beth M. Irby-Thomas; and her brothers, Richad Bright and Larry Bright.

She is survived by: her sons, Dan Irby and Dave Irby (Kathleen); her sibling's children, Todd Bright and Tracy Hulburt; and her grandsons, Robert Rockholt, Jake Irby (Amy), Matthew Irby and Alex Garcia (Bekah). She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.

Any memorial donations in Betty's honor can be made to the American Cancer Society.
