He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Blum and Lois Emerson; and his brothers, Daniel Blum and Lorris "Larry" Blum. He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Emmons Emerson of Colbert, WA; his siblings, Beverly Shuyler (Merle) of Goldendale, WA and Alan Blum of Otis Orchards, WA; his daughter Jodi Parente of Bellevue, WA; and his grandchildren, Victoria Parente and Ryan Parente of Seattle, WA.. He is also survived by his friends, colleagues, nieces, nephews.
