He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jack and Berylene DeYoung; and his aunt Colleen Rhuby. He is survived by: his parents, Doug DeYoung (Tonya) of Odessa, TX and Laura Getz of Colfax; his brother Brian DeYoung of Moscow, ID; his grandparents, Ken Getz, Sandy and Myron Fortsrom; his cousins, Neal, Nick, Megan and Ryan; his uncles, John DeYoung, John Getz and Dave; and his aunt Cindy Getz.
He had a passion for animals which has prompted a request by the family for memorial donations to be made to the Whitman Humane Society or to a shelter of your choice.
