She was predeceased by: her parents, Martha McClellan Stanton and George Harold Stanton; and her husband John F. Adams. She is survived by: her sister Eleanor "Dolly" Harvey (Charles "Mac"); her daughters, Hannah Walker (David), Stephanie Hunter (John) and Susan Adams (Matthew Ott); her granddaughters, Lucy Danielle Marco and Chloe Emily Marco; and her stepgrandson Holden Ott. She is also survived by one niece, one nephew, one great-niece, and two great-nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Colfax Community Church (109 N Mill St, Colfax, WA 99111). A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Whitman County Library Starts (110 S Main St, Colfax, WA 99111).
