She was predeceased by: her mother Edna Wigen (Carlson); her husband George Mackleit; her father Peter Wigen; and her siblings, Diane Geary, David, Bob and Jurgen Wigen.
She is survived by: her sons, Mark Mackleit (Bobbi) of Colfax, Kent Mackleit (Jeanette) of Detroit and Rick Mackleit (Wendy) of Colfax; her brothers, Marvin Wigen (Marilyn) of Oakesdale and Kermit Wigen (Jolene) of Pullman; her great grandchildren, Zachary Cooper, Abigail Mackleit, William, Charlie Couck, Tyacke Mackleit, Bud Weitze and Logan Thurman; and her sisters-in-law, MaryAnn and Johnna Wigen.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Peace Lutheran Church (309 N Lake St, Colfax, WA 99111).
The family suggests memorial donations to the Peace Lutheran Church in Colfax or to the Harriet Mackleit Fund c/o the Colfax High School Athletic Department.
