She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Stensaa and Nettie Stensaa; her husband David Powell; her sisters, Bonnie Palaniuk and Marie Perard; her half-sister Carmen Knudtson; and her brother Raymond Stensaa.
She is survived by: her children, Jennifer (Matt Zylstra) and Tristan (Jodi Peña); her grandsons, Brayden and Wyatt Zylstra; and her sister Eileen (Kelly Christenson). She is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Colfax Cemetery (E Canyon St, Colfax, WA 99111).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial gifts be made to their local food bank or humane society.
