He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Rubin and Jeanette Rubin (Gilbert); and his siblings, Bill Rubin and Vivian. He is survived by: his wife Carol Haxton; his children, Gwen Nolan (Greg) of Colfax and Jay Rubin (Kathy) of Colfax; his grandsons, Coleman Williams (Tavia), Jason Nolan, Andrew Nolan (Hanna), Jared Ledbetter and Bryan Rubin; and his sisters, Barbara Steinbeck of Arizona and Janice Mitchell (Gerald) of Colfax. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

The family suggests memorial donations to the Onecho Bible Church, the Onecho Cemetery, or to the Union Gospel Mission.
