Lester Doering Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lester Doering of College Place, Washington, born in Prescott, Washington, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 6, 2025 at the age of 55. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Lester farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Lester is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his father Les Doering. He is survived by: his wife Shawn Doering; his children, Addison (Josh) and Colton (Ashley); his grandsons, Bennett and Rowen; his mother Nancy Doering-Kelly (Mike); his brother Brian (Andrea); and his mother-in-law Mary Rowe. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Touchet Fire Department, where Les proudly served as a volunteer firefighter for 12 years, or The ALS Association in Les' memory, through the Herring Groseclose Funeral Home, 315 W Alder St, Walla Walla, WA 99362.
