He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyer Nilson and Wilma Nilson (Peterson); his wife Carol Bowmer; and his siblings, Jerry, Gene, Richard Nilson and Shirley Payne.
He is survived by: his children, Brad (Pam) of Colton, Chris (Ramona) of Viola, Mike (Carolyn Lusby) of Pullman, Ann Hanson of Bandon, OR and Natalie Drake of Spokane, WA; his stepdaughters, Nancy Lamb (Gordon), Sherry Krogh (Richard) and Penny Floyd; and his sisters, Inez Flisher and Joan Adams. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
