It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elda Lorraine Johnson-Murrow of Colville, Washington, born in Martin, South Dakota, who passed away on December 19, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Van Simmons and Delia Viola Simmons (Bartlett); her husband Jack Johnson; and her siblings, Earl Simmons, Alvin Simmons, Beatrice McCoy and Doreen.
She is survived by: her children, Douglas Johnson (Barbara) of Spokane, WA, Leslie Harrington of Kettle Falls, WA, DeVonne Smith (Brian) of Deer Lake, WA, Pat Johnson of Colville, WA, Eric Johnson of Deer Lake, WA, Warren Johnson of Colville, WA and William Johnson of Colville, WA; and her brothers, Walter Simmons (Sandy) of Nebraska, Vernon Simmons of Martin, SD and Elmer Simmons of Martin, SD. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and two great-great grandchild.
