She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Rucker and Phyllis Rucker; her husband Alvin; her granddaughter Alexandra; and her brother Jim Rucker.
She is survived by: her friend Alvin Chochon; her daughters, Kelly Chochon Schactler (Dave) and Kimberly Chochon (Ryan); her sister Jean Goodwine (Jim); her grandchildren, Jack (Mavis), Joseph (Emma), Anna (Miguel), Christopher, Aria and Myla Schactler; Edna and James "Ponca" Rucker. She is also survived by 7 granddogs and 3 grandcats.
The best way to honor and remember Joan is, in lieu of flowers, to make a contribution to either the Coupeville Garden Club or the Coupeville Lions Club.
