She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl McKee and Chloa McKee; her husband Robert D. Startin; her siblings, Gene McKee and Verda Bigsby; and her children-in-law, Rita Startin and Gary McFarlane.
She is survived by: her children, Renee Mason (Clark), Micki Terrell (Ron), Lonnie Startin (Cindy), Randy Startin, Annette McFarlane and Robert Startin, Jr. (Maureen). She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 65 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
