He is survived by: his wife Barbara Anne Hofer (Louderback); and his children, Richard Hofer, Christine Wyatt, Katherine Curtis, Shane Hofer, Nancy Purviss, Sherri Purdy and Dave Aldrich. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
