He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Gerard Kandel; his children, Mark of Las Vegas, Nevada, Paul (Sandra Christensen) of Edmonds, Washington and Juliet (Kelly Kristjanson) of Edmonds; his grandson Joseph Kandel (Crystal); his great grandchildren, Haylee and Hayden Kandel; his stepgrandchildren, Aimee Hall, Katie Christensen and Andy Christensen; and his sisters-in-law, Betsy Schwinn and Barbara Estevez.
