She was predeceased by: her parents, William Wendt and Elsie Wendt (Willenkamp). She is survived by: her husband Norman Reitz of Edmonds, WA; her children, Kenneth Reitz (Lois) of Marion, WI, Debbie Holmes and Cynthia Diaz (Thomas); her grandchildren, Dan Holmes (Emily), Charlie Holmes (Katy), Marcus Reitz (Jen), Amanda Reitz (Jeff Carlson), Dustan Bunt and Megan Upshaw; her great grandchildren, Jayden Suttie, Jena Suttie, Calla Reitz, Brooks Carleson and Liam Holmes; her brother Donald Wendt (Julie); her sister-in-law Barbie Barcley (Melvin); her siblings, William Wendt Jr., Delbert Wendt Sr., Eleanor Werner (Carl), Marjorie Forbeck (Ray) and Eunice Scheibe (Harold); and her granddaughter Jessica Reitz Suttie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church (349 N Main St, Seymour, WI 54165). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Appleton's Highland Memorial Park (3131 N Richmond St, Appleton, WI 54911).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Fred Hutch Cancer Center (https://secure.fredhutch.org) in Seattle, WA in honor of Dorothy's granddaughter, Jessica Reitz Suttie.
