Roy leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Roy’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Nehl and Jane Nehl; and his sister Nancy Weishaar (Emo). He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Sue; his sons, Michael Royer and Zachery Nehl; and his brothers, Timothy (Joy Mandel), Robert (Eileen) and Martin. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Rosary Parish (630 7th Ave N, Edmonds, WA 98020). A burial was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Holyrood Cemetery (205 NE 205th St, Shoreline, WA 98155).
