He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredrick "Fred" Sherman and Florence Sherman; his brother Richard; his former wife Shirley; his sons-in-law, Bill White and Marty Clare; and his great grandchild Rory Ober.
He is survived by: his wife Janice; and his children, Leanne Clare, Gayle White, Darryll Sherman (Lily) and Keith Sherman. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
