She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Louise (Mastin) and Verle Dickinson Dority; her brother Douglas Allen Dority; and her daughter Ada Suzanne. She is survived by: her spouse Cadet Roger Joseph Arango, Jr.; her sons, Clayton Porter Arango (Robyn) and Craig Dickinson Arango (Minette); her brothers, Michael L. Dority (Debb) and John F. Dority (Elaine); her siblings-in-law, Stella Duarte Dority and James F. Arango; her grandchildren, Zerian Alexander Arango (Maggie), Nathaniel Collins Arango, Serena Helen Scheffer-Arango, Tristan Peter Stewart Arango and Jasper Reid Stewart Arango; and her great grandchild Forrest Timothy Arango. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and their children.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Ridge Encore Restaurant (404 N Pine St, Ellensburg, WA 98926).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to Yakima Union Gospel Mission or Friends of Ellensburg Animal Shelter, two causes Ann supported. Please also consider donations to the Gretchen Weller Foundation, whose mission is to provide comfort for families in our community who are battling cancer.
