He is survived by: his spouse Radha Rani Thirunavalli; his sons, Avinash Thirunavalli and Ashish Thirunavalli; and his daughters-in-law, Lakshmi Lavanya Thirunavalli and Sanghamithra Thirunavalli.
His contributions to the medical field were recognized in 2014 when he received an award "Excellence in Preventive Medicine" from the hands of Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana, acknowledging his dedication to medicine and education.
