He was predeceased by: his parents, John D. Hunt, Sr. and Georgia Anna Littlejohn Hunt; his stepmother Elizabeth Smith Hunt; his siblings, Wilma Hunt and Robert Hunt; and his sons, Bryan G. Hunt and John D. Hunt, III.
He is survived by: his daughter Danielle R. Hunt; his sister Arletta Hunt McClendon of St Louis, Missouri; his grandsons, Noah B. Hunt of Breese and Jeffrey R. Brambach of Seattle, Washington.; and his wife Eloise B. Hudson. He is also survived by great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
