He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Hillis and Azilee Hillis. He is survived by: his wife Veralene; and his children, Darlene, Marilyn (Dave), Dan (Dusty), Pam (Dale), Deena (Craig) and Rodney. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, one brother and one sister.
