He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Buchholz and Helen Buchholz (Mehn); his sister Gloria; his son John; his great grandchild Baby Sam Sears; Gloria Mae Walter.
He is survived by: his sisters, Helen Sawall and Donna Burton (Chet); and his children, Christine Rankin (Bill), Barbara, Maurine Gunsauls (Tom), Richard (Patricia) and David (Christine). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
