He is survived by: his wife Luisa Bustillos; his children, Lorna (Don Hyslop), Roman Jr. and Nancy (Frank Wilcher); and his grandchildren, Ramona, Russell, Angela, Frank III, Teresa and Jacob. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
