Cherry Ann Smit Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 29, 2023, at the age of 67, Cherry Ann Smit of Ferndale, Washington, born in Bellingham, Washington passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Herbert W. Morell and Janice G. Morell (Shetler). She is survived by : her husband Glenn Smit; her children, Adria (John), David (Michelle), Nicholas and Benjamin; her grandchildren, Kristi, Crystal, Joshua, Caleb, Daniel, John, Chloe, Heidi, Braden and Kaylee; and her siblings, Sandy, Jim, Linda and Tom. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Cherry's name may be made to Rev. Mel Dotinga for his missionary work in Papua New Guinea.
