He is survived by: his wife Judy Truschel; his children, Jeff Truschel and Angie Mogilefsky (Truschel); his children-in-law, Christine Truschel and Wayne Mogilefsky; his grandchildren, Alexandra Truschel, Dominick Truschel and Nicole Mogilefsky; and his pet Maggie.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the NOAH Animal Center of Stanwood, WA, the organization that rescued Louis' beloved Maggie.
