He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Metivier and Chester Metivier; and his sisters, Violet Rockwell (Rocky), Blanche Burton (Howard), Ezetta Jones (Kenneth) and Caroline Day (Harold).
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia; his daughters, Bonnie Toppen (Gerald) and Vickie Kruse (Darwin); his grandchildren, David Kruse, Donald Kruse (Melissa), Marc Toppen and Janell Toppen; his sister-in-law Elaine Meiers; and his nephew Brian Meiers. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
