He was predeceased by : his parents, Wallace Dodd and Julia Dodd; his son Michael James; his brother Stan (Christine); and his brother-in-law Keith Bakker (Susan).

He is survived by : his wife Linda (Peterson) of Bellingham; his son Brother Phil (Carroll); and his sister Susan. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends.
